Free Image Enhancement

One vital part of transforming your image to canvas, which many ignore, is image enhancement. Printing to canvas is different from printing to paper. The brightness, contrast and colours of your image needs to be adjusted to produce a striking finished canvas. At Abstract we use a fully colour calibrated process to ensure your image looks outstanding on canvas.

Digital or Paper Photographs

We work with either digital images or direct from your printed photos.

Digital

Just bring in your camera, memory card, usb stick or cd with your images(s) on them or email them to us on orders@makeitabstract.com.

Paper

Bring in or Post your photographs to us and we will professionally scan them before creating your canvas. Your original is them returned with your new canvas.

We Make All Our Canvas by Hand

Every step in making your canvas is carried out by us in our workshops. From digitally enhancing and processing your image to expertly printing and stretching your canvas. Unlike others we don't send your photo away to be made elsewhere. We control the high quality at each step and as we do it all we pass the cost savings on to you.

Canvas Protection

At Abstract we Heatseal all our canvas to protect and enhance them.
Heatsealing is the ultimate finish a canvas can have. A micro thin membrane is permanently bonded to your canvas using high pressures and temperatures. The result is a scratchproof and water resistant finish that provides extra uv protection to ensure your canvas will last a generation.

In addition to providing a scratch resistant coating to your canvas the other big advantage of our heatseals is that your canvas is water resistant which allows you to wipe it clean!.
